The Prevention Green Paper

The 1001 Critical Days Movement is working hard to persuade Government that supporting early relationships should be a core part of its prevention agenda.

Our chair, Tim Loughton MP, wrote to Health Secretary Matt Hancock in February 2019 about the contents of the Green Paper. You can read his letter here.

The Green Paper says the right things about the importance of the first 1001 days, but does not follow this up with convincing action to improve babies’ relationships and life chances. You can read our analysis of the Green Paper here.
