Use your voice for your constituents who can’t speak yet
This Infant Mental Health Awareness Week (10th-16th June), MPs and candidates across the country are getting involved by showing support for their youngest constituents and joining the campaign to ‘Speak up for babies’.
At least one in ten babies experiences fear and distress due to disrupted relationships with their parent or main carer. Without help, these babies are more likely to develop mental health conditions in childhood.
Candidates and MPs who want to change this are posting content, visiting local services and using their voice to explain the importance of supporting babies’ emotional well-being and development.
