Parent-Infant Foundation is very pleased to announce that we have received funds funding for three years from the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation.

This funding will support us in all aspects of our mission to support the growth and quality of specialised parent-infant relationship teams across the UK.

Esmée Fairbairn Foundation aims to improve our natural world, secure a fairer future and strengthen the bonds in communities in the UK. The Foundation is one of the largest independent grant-makers in the UK. In 2019 they made grants of £36 million towards a wide range of work within the arts, children and young people, the environment and social change.

Speaking about the grant, Chief Executive Beckie Lang said “Esmée Fairbairn is such a well-respected funder so we are delighted that they have recognised our work. This grant will of course help us to support and enable more specialised parent-infant teams across the UK. But it will also help us develop initiatives that will put the charity itself on a sustainable footing for the long term.

We are grateful to the team at Esmée Fairbairn for recognising the importance of infant mental health to lifelong physical and mental health. We are very much looking forward to working with them to give babies and the services that work with them a clear and compelling voice.”
