February 2020 – APPG EGM

A EGM (extraordinary general meeting) of the Conception to Age Two APPG took place on 4^th February 2020 in Portcullis House. This meeting was our first meeting since the general election and was for parliamentarians only. We welcomed a number of new members to the group and elected members to officer positions within the APPG. 

Alongside the formalities, Sally Hogg from the Parent-Infant Foundation presented the latest science about the importance of the first 1001 Days; the current policy landscape, the past work of the APPG and current developments in the sector.  The parliamentarians discussed how best to focus their attention over the coming year.
