Summary
To fulfil its commitment to increasing the child mental health workforce, NHS England provide 1 year of funding for services to recruit new members of staff, or redeploy existing staff members, to undertake their specialist training in Infant Mental Health including either video feedback or parent training interventions. This funded training is part of the Children and Young People’s Psychological Trainings: Therapy, Postgraduate Diploma (previously known as CYP IAPT).
Salary funding is covered up to NHS AfC mid-point band 6 (or non-NHS equivalent) plus 25% on-costs, plus HCAS as applicable, paid according to the financial years’ uplift values with full university training fees covered.
