Summary
Fri 27th June
13.00 – 15.00
Join us for a talk which will explore what we need to know about the experiences of both being pregnant and being a foetus and why they are so vitally important for every single one of us.
Graham will explore the latest scientific findings on pregnancy and the incredible life of the foetus, and consider how does life before birth shape later development. We will see how mother and baby can bond whilst sharing one body, and how a tiny foetus actively learns from the environment it is inhabiting. We will see how pregnancy, and even parents lives before conception, sculpt a baby’s; lifelong health, for example via the mother’s ancestral inheritances, diet, stress levels, and emotional state.
The talk will link together therapeutic insights, real-life stories and new science to show how life in the womb can enhance a child’s potential, and how it is essential for providing the best possible start for babies, long before their birth.
