Start for Life Development Workshop 2 – Developing a Parent-Infant-Relationship Pathway

Developing pathways to map out the system of parent-infant support is a crucial part of service development and will help to ensure a coherent and joined-up approach between services for babies and their families. Pathways are also a central component of a parent-infant relationship strategy.

This session is an opportunity to reflect on the challenges and opportunities of developing pathways in your area. We will talk through a pathway template that can be used and adapted in different contexts.

The template was initially developed in our work supporting the Black Country to implement their Start for Life offer; it has now been trialled elsewhere and adapted to be a flexible template to be used in other areas. A copy of the template will be distributed to all attendees.
