Video-Feedback Intervention to Promote Positive Parenting (VIPP)

Overview

To improve attachment security through the promotion and enhancement of parental sensitivity and increasing parental understanding of early development. While VIPP utilises strength-based clips, it also addresses difficult interactions and offers psychoeducation on development.

Target Audience: Parents and children up to age 6.

Length: 7 x 1½ hour sessions, on a fortnightly-monthly basis.

Materials used: Recording and playback equipment, e.g. laptop with webcam.
