Working Together: Parent-Infant Work and Children’s Social Care webinar recording

Julie Daglish and Sarah Gallagher from Little Minds Matter in Bradford are both social workers by profession and are interested in the links between infant mental health and children’s social care.

They have made links with some of the social care teams and services who work with babies and parents who might have experienced disrupted early relationships and explore the impacts of safeguarding assessments and interventions on the parent/infant bond. They are also keen to bring infant mental health theories to colleagues in children services and are rolling out infant mental training to Bradford social workers. They sit on the pre-birth panel in Bradford on a weekly basis.

This webinar hopes to share some of their thinking and ideas about these connections – what they have done/are planning to do to bring services and professionals together.
