There are currently 49 specialised parent-infant relationship teams around the UK and many more smaller Parent-Infant Relationship Services (PAIRS) in development.
The definition of a parent-infant team (known as infant mental health teams in Scotland) can be found here and is based on practice in the sector over the past two decades. The Parent-Infant Foundation believes this model of a parent-infant team is the best way to meet the needs of babies.

* All teams listed on this map meet the Parent-Infant Foundation's definition of a team through a self-reporting process. Each team operates its own governance structure and is responsible for its service delivery. If you have a concern regarding any service provided by one of the teams, please see our guidance here.
