PhD Studentship in the measurement of parent-infant relationships

Summary

This PhD studentship will focus on how we measure parent-infant relationships, and will be co-supervised by Dr Sarah Blower, Dr Kate Mooney, and Professor Paul Tiffin.

We are looking for a candidate with quantitative research skills to explore innovative approaches such as computational psychometrics, machine learning, and psychometric validation to improve how parent-infant relationships are measured in real-world settings and diverse populations.

Who are we looking for?
• A 2:1 degree or higher (or equivalent) in psychology, statistics, computational science, health/social sciences, or related disciplines.
• Strong quantitative interest in psychometrics, data science, or epidemiology (a relevant Master’s is a desirable).
• Relevant personal or professional experience supporting families, or working in health/social care, is desirable.
