Summary

NSPCC are carrying out research to help shape their new strategy – they want to understand what babies, children and young people want and need most from the NSPCC.

They are carrying out focus groups in August and September 2026 with:

Children and young people (aged 6-17-years-old)
Parents and carers (of children under 6-years-old)
Professionals and practitioners (who have experience of early years care)

In addition to the focus groups, they have also prepared a short survey for professionals where they would love for you and your team to share your views on what the NSPCC should be doing to help keep babies and young children safe.

The survey should take no longer than 10 minutes. There are 3 main questions, plus a few demographic questions. They are specifically interested in hearing from professionals and practitioners that work with children 5-years-old and under. They appreciate any support with sharing this survey across a broader network.
