Developing a parent-infant strategy and securing cross-agency commitment to delivery

Local authority — strategy development and stakeholder engagement

The Challenge

Brent’s Start for Life team had a clear goal — to develop a strategy and engage other agencies in delivering it — but needed expert support to navigate the landscape, particularly around securing CAMHS involvement in a parent-infant pathway.

Having the associate’s expertise and steering us in the right direction was very useful. We were able to understand the landscape of perinatal mental health service provision and the shortfalls to avoid.
