The first APPG meeting of this parliament is scheduled for the 4th February.
A EGM (extraordinary general meeting) of the APGG is planned for 9:30 am on 4th February in Portcullis House. This meeting will be for parliamentarians only, with the aim of welcoming new members to the group and electing members to officer positions within the APPG.
Alongside the formalities, the meeting gives us an opportunity to share the compelling case for action on this issue. Sally Hogg from the Parent-Infant Foundation will be presenting the latest science about the importance of the first 1001 Days; the current policy landscape, the past work of the APPG and current developments in the sector. Together the parliamentarians will discuss how best to focus their attention over the coming year.
